Why Select the Discovery Schools?

Located on 318 acres in central Virginia, The Discovery School uses group therapy and the natural environment to promote a student's overall positive development. Each student is assigned to a group that includes ten to twelve students, two adult group leaders, and a supervisor. Each group lives in a rustic campsite village comprised of 8-10 cabin-sized tents, which the students design, maintain, and replace as needed.
